Students accepted to the second or third year program of SCSL will further discover and sharpen their leadership skills and abilities. Each student is assigned portfolios based on individual skill sets and given the opportunity to lead in various venues throughout the year. Second year students will also have the opportunity to serve as a resident assistant and small group leader. These invaluable experiences along with leadership mentoring will equip them to lead effectively within the home, church and market place.
Students desiring to enter ministry will receive training and mentoring from many experienced veterans. Classroom instruction, combined with practical hands on application, makes this an invaluable experience and gives students entering ministry a distinct advantage. Within two to three years at SCSL, they will have over twenty-five pastors and market place professionals personally pouring into their life. Special emphasis is placed upon those who are interested in Children’s, youth, worship or missions. Upon completion of the third year, students may apply to become licensed and credentialed through the Assemblies of God.
