Zak Meredith

Assembly of God Missionary- Ecuador

"I am a fully appointed missionary with the Assemblies of God working in Ecuador. I work mainly with the Shuar Indians, an unreached people group, here in the jungles. We have just recently made contact with another unreached people group, called the Ashuar Indians. My main focus is church planting as we have more than 60 churches already established here in the jungle. We plan on building 100 more in the next 10 years. As you might have already thought “How can this guy pastor 160 churches?!!” Well, that is my second focus. We are starting an intensive pastoral training program where I will be heavily involved in training up younger pastors. If you would like to know more about my mission and what I do feel free to contact me at"

Living and Learning International-ECUADOR

I graduated SCSL in 2014. During those two life changing years of my life the Lord grew my passion for college students. I went back to Ecuador not knowing what the Lord was doing and preparing me for, after a year of reverse cultural shock, struggling to find community, having a job that paid the bills. The Lord blessed me with an amazing opportunity to serve as the Community Impact Director for Living and Learning International. I could have never imagine serving North American college students in my own country, building bridges between cultures but most importantly mentoring them and seeing them know Christ in a deeper level. It is truly a dream come true, my passion and calling coming alive everyday. I would love to invite you to be a part of this journey with me. Your prayers, encouragement, and support are invaluable

ASsembly of God missionary - Machala, Ecuador

We are missionary associates to Machala, Ecuador! We both attended SCSL in 2013-2015 and we were both changed for the better. After our time there, we knew that missions is what the Lord had for us! Our dream is to open up a foster home/orphanage for children with special needs, where we can fund surgeries, foster adoption and even help mend families that have been separated. But, our ultimate goal is to bring people to salvation through Jesus! During the next three years, we will be attending language school to learn Spanish and working alongside career missionaries that have been in Machala for the past 20 years. We will be planting a few churches in nearby cities, doing weekly services and classes for children in that area and working towards getting involved in the special needs community through small groups and the local church! We are so excited for the future and all that the Lord will do, and we are so thankful for our SCSL family!

I heard Missions Week at SCSL was life-changing, but I didn't really know how life-changing until Spain. Ever since I was very young I have had a heart for traveling, but it wasn’t until I was praying for both the homeless and the wealthy on the streets of Puerta Del Sol that my heart came alive. Paul, a man fully devoted to serve the Lord in spite of persecution, has inspired me to not bow my knee to fear and make Jesus known in the nations. I believe YWAM in Kona, Hawaii is the next step in becoming a full-time missionary. YWAM will enable me to pursue a lifestyle of Christlike boldness. I would love and appreciate your prayers for a mind that is ready to learn and a heart ready to receive what the Lord wants to teach me. If you feel lead to partner with me financially, I will need about $12,000 to be able make this dream a reality. Thank you in advance for all you are sowing into the Kingdom through me.

Hunter Abston

During my first year at SCSL, I went on a missions trip to Sucua, Ecuador. It was on this trip that I clearly heard the Lord call me to full-time missions. There are over 600,000 unreached people groups in the world. My heart is to go into nations that have never heard the Name that is above every other name and to make this name famous. Matthew 24 says "this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." I count everything else a loss for the sake of laying my life down so that Jesus can once again return.  For the next 6 months I will be serving in Kona, Hawaii while attending YWAM. The classes and outreach opportunities offered will enable me to further the goal of taking the Name of Jesus to the nations. Would you consider partnering with me in prayer and financially?

Respire Haiti Missionary- Haiti

"I graduated SCSL in 2011. This was the year that the Lord first placed Haiti on my heart. I went back in 2013, then again in 2014. My heart is for the broken, for them to be restored with the joy of the Lord. This is a nation that is heavily consumed with voodoo. They are searching for answers that only the Lord can provide. I will mainly be working with restavek children. This basically translates to child slave. It is so engrained in their society that it has essentially become their unofficial and corrupt child welfare system. I have the honor of working with Respire Haiti, where they are able to share with these children their worth as a child of the living God, as well as spread the gospel to their abusers. I am overjoyed that I have the opportunity to be in Haiti for three months and prayerfully considering going back for a longer term. I am so thankful for the Lord’s gentle, yet powerful call to make the name of Jesus known in Haiti."
