parent hq - note from the director

“What have you done with my child?” Quotes like that from SCSL parents make it all worthwhile. We believe it takes the whole tribe to raise the child. It’s our honor to join you in your attempt to see your child reach their highest potential and calling in Christ. Our desire is to build on the foundation you have already laid. South Carolina School of Leadership will play a part in the ongoing process of shaping and sharpening your child for their future.

At SCSL, we believe that continuing education can play a key element in a student’s success in life. Unfortunately, our talent can often take us where our character can’t hold us. We are committed to build and strengthen students both in academics and in character. Throughout the nine-month period of SCSL over twenty pastors and market place professionals will train and mentor the students. We are also privileged to be teamed up with Valley Forge Christian College for a portion of our academic curriculum. Another academic favorite of our students is Biblical Studies. This curriculum was derived from the more than twenty-one years of ministry during which God has given me valuable insight into living a lifestyle that honors the Lord. During this class students learn how to apply Biblical principles to everyday life. One of our former students' parent said, “[SCSL] teaches students everything that college doesn’t.” It has been encouraging to see the life change that students experience and to hear the testimonies of parents as a result of the SCSL program.

SCSL also teaches many life skills classes that will equip students both personally and professionally. Some of these classes include conflict resolution, effective communication, time management, budgeting, interpersonal relations, and public speaking. As you can see, it is our endeavor to prepare them for all facets of life, and we hope you’ll agree. Feel free to visit the link below to read testimony from our parents from around the nation.
