Hello! Jenna here! Today was such an exciting day. Along with having fun serving at JAARS,we also got to go on a helicopter ride with a hilarious guy named Nard- a pilot who was originally from a tribe in the Phillipines- He assured us that he couldn't read or write but the one thing he could do was fly a plane! After that adventure, we also got to go on an off road excursion. We've all been a little more tired today than usual, but because of that we're all getting pretty silly so it's made it even more fun. We now have some pretty solid friendships with the workers and volunteers here and they are honestly some of the sweetest people I have ever met. We are continually being encouraged and amazed by the stories that they have been sharing with us! JAARS day is coming up on Saturday- it's a day where they do interactive activities with many families to support Bible translation and missions- and we are all pretty stoked about it! Be praying for good weather for the event!

Hey everyone!
We had another great day of painting and roofing this morning at JAARS. We enjoyed the rest of the day as a family at the Billy Graham library, spent a fun-filled hour at Sky High, and ended the night with some savory barbecue.
It's incredible to see the LORD at work here. While we are simply a labor crew, we've had incredible opportunity to sow into the lives of the people at JAARS, as well as have them pour into us! These are truly some of the LORD's finest up here!
Keep praying for our team as we do more construction and painting tomorrow for safety, efficiency, and continued opportunity to bless and be blessed by those up here at JAARS!

Hello everyone! We are really REALLY having a blast here at JAARS! The Lord has been moving in many ways that honestly were very unexpected. This morning Kenny,Livingstone, and Travis led us into worship and some of our students gave their testimonies in a service of about 300 JAARS workers and volunteers. The response was incredible! They even complained, saying that it was too short and that they wanted to hear every single one of our testimonies no matter how long it took! All of the people in the service were so touched by the way we took of our armor and shared our stories. All day the workers and volunteers here came up to us and thanked us for sharing and told us how it spoke to them in a deep way. Even though we are far in ages we have found ourselves at home among those who have dedicated their lives to serving The Lord. We have been surrounded by so much wisdom and have been honored to hear so many different stories of their journeys from across the nations. Their faith in the provision of The Lord is evident throughout the lives of these men and women and has been so encouraging and challenging to us all! We can't wait to see what Gods up to next, He has so shown us that we are here not just to pour out, but to also just simply love on the people here and spread the joy! Continue to pray as we serve here, and thank you for your prayers so far for the team! God is good!!

Hey guys! Greg here! We just finished up out first days working at JAARS in Waxhaw, North Carolina. The LORD is definitely here with us. One team scraped, primed, and painted some walls inside while another team bared the frigid cold of 54 degrees to do some construction work. We are in the process of replacing the roofs of various jungle huts. Needless to say, we are definitely enjoying ourselves!
